Best way to clean your Make-Up Brushes

I find the most cost effective way of cleaning my Make-Up brushes is to grab a towel, put a little Mac Brush Cleaner on it and then gently rub the brush on the area being carful not to go against the direction of the brush hairs. Doing it this way uses less product and is a nice and tidy way to clean your brushes.

M.A.C - SHEEN SUPREME LIPSTICK IN FULL SPEED REVIEW

M.A.C Sheen Supreme Lipstick is new on the shelves this season and is making a permanent resident in stores now. This new lipstick is said to have the strong popping colour we all love with a glossy sheen. Sounded to good to be true so I bought this shade (Full Speed) and tested it out for you ;) (any excuse to buy another lippy). I found it glided perfectly on and I didn't even need to use a lip liner to fill. The gloss was just like applying a light layer of lip gloss over the top without the tackiness and the colour well.... was striking! I went back to try a few more shades in store and can safely say that I will surely be going back to buy a few more shades of this good investment trendy lip stick. Oh almost forgot.... They smell like vanilla too! :) PERFECT, YUMMY!

Tangle Teezer Is A Pleaser!

I have been testing out the Tangle Teezer for the past few months and have fallen in love. This brush is designed to detangle hair kindly weather long short straight or curly. It can be used on your natural hair and is even great for extensions or wigs. A bonus is that it doesn't have that annoying hair brush handle so when you throw it in your handbag it saves on space and is also designed to fit comfortably in your hand. You can choose from lots of different colours and I found it really cheap on Amazon. Please see the link on the right hand side of my blog. This brush is defiantly a permanent item I carry around with me on a daily basis.

I love this shirt I found in Primark for £12. Underneath it I put a plain white vest and teamed it with some dark navy slim fit jeans from Top Shop. Shoes are by Faith.

My Look Of The Day...

Today I went with a Mini Skirt, Cool Grey Printed Tee and Black leather look Waist Coat all from River Island, Plimsoles From Next, Ring Miss Selfridge, Rosary Beads Top Shop, Watch Michael Kors and beaded bracelets were gifts.

Get The Look - This week it's 90's beauty Aaliyah

First of all I started with sleeking my hair with straighteners and then lightly sprayed on some hair spray. Then I started on the Make-Up... For this I used my normal foundation Mac Studio Tech color NC40 or NC42. Once that was applied I used Mac Eye Shadow (colour Sable) over the whole lid and under the lower lashes. Next I used liquid liner on the top eye lid just above the eyelashes and Mac Feline on the inner lower rim of the eye. For the cheeks I used Mac Sculpt just below the cheek bone and then lightly mixed Mac Dollymix & Mac Plum Foolery shades over the top. I found a Cherry Red lipstick in my kit and then finished off with Mascara and a highlighter on the brow bone. To match this picture I put in Green contact lenses and also found some fab earrings that I've had for years. Ta-Daah!!!

What's in my Jimmy Choo Handbag!?

I dont Have masses of handbags so this was a real investment for me! (shoes on the other hand i could build a house with).

Got this gorgeous light grey number a few years back but love it still as if it were bought fresh yesterday!

Inside I have my Vivienne Westwood Ebury purse, a great staple, with a mixture of Dirhams and Pounds in there (although not that many pounds at this moment in time!) and lots of eating out royalty cards (who lives in london and eats at home?!).

Young persons rail card... I love a good trip back up north and it's saved me millions!

My gorgeous RMK limited edition compact make up case which was a VERY generous present for Xmas. It came with a gold Kate Spade clutch. £75 well spent there!

Super-sparkly nailfile! Deborah Lipman Varnish in the colour "GIRLS JUST WANA HAVE FUN" (very apt) with a clear Rimmel topcoat (I swear by topcoat- gives you an extra 2 days lasting) and Revlon Liquid quick Dry which is fab, miraculous and great for when you're on the move! HATE not having great nails and this is a colour which goes with everything!

My staple Chanel lippy "Rouge Allure 207 Famous". Every girl needs a Chanel Lippy, it stays on rain or shine and I live this one as it has a hint of sparkle! Accompanied by a great balm my mum bought me from South Africa!

Tiny handbag Nivea for every dry emergency!

Cheap sunglasses (as I lose and break them all the time)

The New KitKat peanut Butter Chunky for chocolate emergencies!

Mini Vera Wang Princess-my signature scent!

Mac concealer NC42 and Max factor brush for emergency touch ups!

Gold by Giles Mega Volume Lashes just in case I'm out and about in the day and someone calls me for a last min evening plan, lashes and a few hair pins later, get rid of the tights and voila! Evening ready!

Gorge sparkly ring I picked up off a market in Singapore! Fell in love with it.

And finally, my good luck charm which I caught at a beach concert in Dubai when Snow Patrol did their finale, the front man threw his plectrum into the 17,000 strong crowd and I caught it!!! I can't go anywhere without it now!

And that's my handbag!!
